Guardian specializes in building technology consulting and turn-key construction services for all types of buildings both residential and commercial. Our focus is on preventing and resolving problems related to building design, specifications, and construction. We are nationally recognized for our expertise in building envelope failures, moisture dynamics and construction defects inspections and investigations and our experience in successful construction remediation services. The Home improvement industry is consistently one of the most complained about industries consumers are forced to deal with.
Serious construction defects are rapidly escalating creating catastrophic structural issues to homes and making some unhealthy or unsafe to live in. Home improvement project lifecycles are now averaging only 8-10 yrs. before needing complete replacement. Even newly built homes are requiring large pre-mature investments in replacement projects of new roofing, siding, and windows sometimes as early as 10 yrs. Or less after they are built.
Homeowners today face huge risks and uncertainties when in need of hiring contractors to fix problems or make improvements on their home. The home improvement industry is plagued by real world homeowner horror stories of projects that went terribly wrong. Most times, these problems could have been avoided if the homeowners had the knowledge and tools to make sure they selected the right solutions and the right contractors.
