Job CategoryAlliances & Channels Job DetailsWe're looking for a Senior Director of Developer Growth and Engagement to help us launch an exciting new chapter for the Slack Platform. Slack acts as a Digital HQ for our customers, connecting people with their colleagues and the tools and services they need to get work done, together. Slack's extensibility is a key part of what makes it so essential. By working with developers to create a more seamless working environment between people and the tools they use, you'll be making Slack more useful and delightful for our customers. The Developer Relations team sits within the Slack Product organization; as a whole, we are responsible for our API site, developer tools and frameworks, and programs with partners and customers to drive growth. As a growth leader on the team, you'll collaborate closely with the other teams in Developer Relations, Marketing, and Partnerships to craft positive, empowering experiences that encourage developers to become active Slack developers and invite their colleagues to do the same. Developer Relations is a vibrant team of customer-centric individuals who care about our developers, their needs, and their businesses. While most roles in Developer Relations require coding skill, the Growth role will primarily be focused on helping us build out a data-driven approach to developer growth and retention- caring about developers' unique challenges and needs is required, a computer science degree is not. This role would appeal to you if you love seeing adoption numbers go up at scale and hearing the customer stories behind how and why. You enjoy communicating with technical audiences and working with a broad set of people within and outside your own team. Slack has a positive, diverse, and supportive culture-we look for people who are curious, inventive, and work to be a little better every single day. In our work together we aim to be smart, humble, hardworking and, above all, collaborative. If this sounds like a good fit for you, why not talk to us? What you will be doing:
