Job Duties and Responsibilities Duties and Responsibilities: * Ability to set up and operate all conventional machinery, grinders, lathes, mills, etc. * Basic welding/fabricating skills * Machine / fab objects from blueprints with close tolerances. * Work with Die Makers and Mold Makers to repair and maintain molds and dies. * Disassemble and assembling dies / molds. * Clean and inspect dies / molds. * Learn from Die / Mold Makers to ultimately move into one of those roles. * Use standard measuring devices as needed (calipers, micrometers, height gages, comparators, etc) * Comply with standards and procedures of Dana's Health and Safety Procedures and Occupational Health and Safety Regulations. * Complete housekeeping duties and maintain a clean and safe work environment. * Complete assigned work according to specifications and meet timelines. * Complete required documentation. * Perform other job duties as assigned. Education and/or Experience: * High School diploma or G.E.D. is required * Must have Technical School Training and or 2 years job experience in a non-production environment Requirements: * Good work record (attendance, efficiency, and quality) * Willing to work necessary overtime, including weekends * Must have personal tools as required for the job * Ability to read and interpret blueprints * Knowledge of shop math and trigonometry * Must be self motivated and able to work with little supervision * Must have the ability to get along with others in a team environment * Willing to perform other job duties as assigned We are an Equal Opportunity Employer and do not discriminate against any employee or applicant for employment because of race, color, sex, age, national origin, religion, sexual orientation, gender identity, status as a veteran, and basis of disability or any other federal, state or local protected class.
