Assists in the preparation of month-end, quarter-end, and annual AgVantis and Association reports (40%) 2. Researches and implements process efficiencies. (10%) 3. Provides back-up to the HFM administrator (10%) 4. Prepares various work papers for use in audit work performed in conjunction with the annual audit and reporting process and/or internal audits. Analyzes and interprets information received from associations for use in financial reporting. (10%) 5. Coordinates with various internal and external resources to prepare and distribute the Year-End Ops Guide . (10%) 6. Prepares and reconciles various CECL reporting requirements. (10%) 7. Provides accounting assistance to AgVantis and Association personnel in resolving issues. (5%) OTHER FUNCTIONS 1. Performs other duties and assumes other responsibilities as assigned. (5%) MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS - Experience of approximately 1 year in accounting or finance preferred. - Knowledge of accounting principles and practices; finance principles and practices; Microsoft excel and word skills; automated accounting systems and other information processing equipment operation. - Skill in interpersonal communication; financial records maintenance; recording and controlling accounting transactions. - Ability to work harmoniously with employees at all levels of the organization. - Regular attendance is required on this job, with the ability to work a full 8-hour day.
