CPI Security, a leader in security and automation systems is hiring a Business DevelopmentManager for our team in our Charlotte, North Carolina market. The Business Development Manager is responsible for generating new business in North and South Carolina by sourcing, meeting with prospects, delivering in-person presentations, contract negotiation, and onboarding of new Builder Partners or Affinity Partners.

Responsibilities:


Responsible for the sourcing and development of all new business accounts. This includes understanding the low voltage and Home Security needs for Home Builders, ability to meet weekly job orders, price negotiations, and onboarding of all new accounts.
Weekly sources, new prospects by phone, email, social media sourcing, and face-to-face solicitations weekly. Proactively follows up with prospects as directed by policy and maintains all sales trackers in real time.
Negotiates all new account rates, terms, and conditions with clients, in conjunction with Leadership Team to ensure best rates and terms for both organizations.
Follow-up routinely with existing Home Builders to ensure needs are met and employees are performing jobs as directed/stated by the client when needed.
Maintain constant communication with customer clients to ensure we are winning all new business.
Attend meetings onsite for new clients, including, but not limited to conducting sales training and new product overviews for Home Builders or Affinity Partners.



Preferred Qualifications:


2+ years' sales experience in the industrial, warehouse, manufacturing, hospitality, or construction industry.

Must be highly motivated, self-disciplined, able to work in a team environment and independently.

Excellent communication skills - verbal and written.

The ability to work and adapt to changing workplace environments and client requirements is required.

Intermediate computer skills including Microsoft Outlook, social media sites, and Microsoft Word.

Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment.
