POSITION SUMMARY:

The primary responsibility of the Banquet Office Administrative Assistant is to provide administrative and clerical support to the department. All duties are performed in accordance with department guest service standards and MGM Resorts International policies, practices and procedures.

THE STARTING RATE: $22.27

THE DAY-TO-DAY:

  • Greet all visitors and callers and address their needs, answer multi-line phone systems and direct calls to the appropriate staff/department, respond to all general e-mail correspondence from guests and staff
  • Schedule conference calls and meetings for office staff
  • Closes all banquet event checks using various platforms such as salesforce, Amadeus
  • Completes Payroll for the banquet team using Eventions system
  • Work closely with the functional department groups as necessary

IDEAL CANDIDATE:

  • One (1) year related experience in a related position, such as administrator, coordinator, clerical, or equivalent education and experience
  • Payroll experience preferred
  • Detailed oriented and proficient time-management skills
  • Strong customer service skills
