Job Summary This position will be entering, modifying, and checking information and documents, giving applicants and potential candidates advice and suggestions. Communicating with candidates and potential candidates. Managing enrollments and promoting retention initiatives to maintain the enrolment of present students. Prospective students frequently encounter the Enrollment Specialist as their first college representation. Through outreach initiatives, college-wide celebrations, and community outreach programs, the Enrollment Specialist will eagerly seek out new students. This person will assist students in selecting the right program or course, give a broad overview of the college, and assist with new student entrance and enrolling. The duties of the Enrollment Specialists include pre-advising enrolled students, assisting with course enrollment, and offering assistance to guarantee program completion. Enrollment Specialists are in charge of maintaining the interest of both current and potential students for the duration of the assignment. This 111 role will assist the enrollment efforts for the following FOIs: Clock Hour Healthcare, Clock Beauty and Wellness, Clock Trade, and Healthcare (Non-nursing programs).The position has an end date of 08/30/2024. Essential Functions 30% - Acts as enrollment liaison for Clock Hour Healthcare, Clock Beauty and Wellness, Clock Trade, and Healthcare (Non-nursing programs). Content expert through providing technical and complex professional academic and career advising to students in all the areas of educational programs 25% - Coordinates projects, events and activities. Develops and delivers program materials, reports, training and professional development to the college community on topics related to career advising, student recruitment, and retention. 20% - Serves as the liaison to external agencies, MCCCD District, Student & Academic departments, and institutional councils within the district and college. (Maricopa Career Counsel). Collaborates with academic departments integrating career services within programs presenting on career resources within specific degrees. 15% - Coordinates and maintains database information and reporting systems including; Student Information Systems (SIS), Customer Relationship Management (CRM), Canvas, PeopleSoft, and Microsoft Office and Google Applications. May assist as a lead worker in hiring and training Federal Work students and new department part-time employees. 10% - Researches and assists in analyzing and interpreting guidelines and regulations for program opportunities, industry trends, solutions and best practices. Identifies and implements program outreach activities including Career Webinars, Job Fairs, and Transfer and High School events. Other duties as assigned. Minimum Qualifications Associate's Degree from a regionally accredited institution and two years of student services or college teaching experience or experience assisting with educational program development and coordination, student advisement, financial aid, or related student development programs. OR High School diploma or GED and four years of student services or college teaching experience or experience assisting with educational program development and coordination, student advisement, financial aid, or related student development programs. Desired Qualifications A. Experience in Advising B. Experience in the Healthcare Industry C. Experience in Trades and Certifications D. Experience with (online systems, i.e. Google Suite, CRM, SIS, Canvas, etc.) E. Experience with a 3-4 items within the professional field, if applicable, Ex: Experience with carpentry, painting, HVAC and/or welding F.
