Database Developer

Key Role:

Lead the design, development, implementation, and maintenance of the Architecture Federation and Integration Portal databases.Apply specific functional knowledge, including working and general industry knowledge. Develop or contribute to solutions to a variety of problems of moderate scope and complexity. Work independently with some guidance in a team collaboration environment. Troubleshoot basic problems and recommend appropriate actions. Maintain responsibility for technical aspects of the databases, including performance and capacity. Maintain security posture of development databases in accord with the latest Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs). Apply knowledge of MS SQL Database and Microsoft Visual Studio.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Experience with MS SQL Database

  • Experience with Microsoft Visual Studio (MSVS)

  • Experience in IT roles that deal with data collection, testing, and documentation

  • Experience with Joint Staff business processes, directives, and directive management systems

  • Experience with Microsoft Office suite, including Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Access

  • Ability to develop technical papers and presentations for senior government civilians and military leadership

  • Secret clearance

  • Bachelor's degree

Additional Qualifications:

  • Experience working with or serving on the Joint Staff, CCMD, or Service Major Headquarters staff

  • Experience with coding in C#, JavaScript, and JSON

  • Experience with MS Azure

  • Experience with creating Application Programming Interfaces (APIs)

  • Experience with sending SQL Database Email

  • Experience with SQL Graph Architecture

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $60,300.00 to $137,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees. This posting will close within 90 days from the Posting Date.
