UX Strategist and Project Manager, Senior

Key Role:

Serve as the user's advocate throughout the product design and development process, providing critical user-centric insight that informs product strategy. Explore all aspects of a user's experience, establishing a complete understanding of their needs and preferences through a variety of tools and techniques, including extensive market research, ethnographic research, and usability testing. Serve as a storyteller, translating research into actionable user insights for clients, designers, developers, and other stakeholders. Work with the entire digital vanguard, including UX designers, service designers, digital analysts, and product development teams to continually test, ideate, validate, and improve designs up to and beyond product launch. Work without considerable direction and mentor and supervise team members.

Basic Qualifications:

• 10+ years of experience as a project manager (PM) for UX projects and programs
• Experience leading teams conducting user research and user testing methodologies
• Experience supporting client meetings and user research sessions, creating client and internal presentations
• Knowledge of best practices for information architecture and interaction design, the user-centered design process, and UX principles and techniques
• Ability to obtain a security clearance
• Master's degree

Additional Qualifications:

• Experience with working across a creative team of researchers, designers, developers, and data analysts
• Experience with facilitation, consensus-building among stakeholders, and change management
• Knowledge of CX measurement and strategy
• Knowledge of working with teams throughout a software development process, including Agile or Lean UX
• Ability to multi-task and contribute to multiple projects simultaneously
• Possession of excellent interpersonal and analytical skills
• Possession of excellent verbal and written communication skills, including storytelling
• Agile Certifications or PMP certification preferred
