Information Technology Risk and Compliance Analyst - Hermitage , PA

Position Title: Information Technology Risk and Compliance Specialist 1

Business Unit: Risk Management

Reports to: Manager of Information Technology Risk and Compliance

Position Overview:

This position is primarily responsible for performing all procedures necessary to ensure the safety of information systems and assets and protecting systems from intentional or inadvertent access or destruction under the supervision of the Director of Information Technology Risk and Compliance. The incumbent Interfaces with the user community to understand their security needs, assists in implementing procedures to accommodate them, ensures the user community understands and adheres to the procedures to maintain security and conducts an accurate evaluation of the level of security required.

Primary Responsibilities:

Performs internal network, security vulnerability and technology risk assessment testing and track remediation of identified issues.

Assists in the evaluation of vendor information security risk.

Assists in the drafting of IT Risk and Information Security policies, procedures and standards.

Under direct supervision, assists in the identification of technology risk and operations concerns and presents them to the Director of Information Technology Risk and Compliance.

Tracks identified issues for regular tracking and reporting.

Performs other related duties and projects as assigned.

Strong security background in network/systems/physical security, authentication, authorization and usability. Comprehensive knowledge of the OSI model. Working knowledge of packet collection and analysis tools.

Licensures/Certifications Required to Perform the Primary Responsibilities of this Position:

Valid Drivers License

CISSP, Security+, Network+, GCIA, GCIH, CEH, CISM, CSX

Physical Requirements or Work Conditions Beyond Traditional Office Work:
