This position will analyze RNAseq and WES data from mouse models. This position will complete immune infiltrate analysis and tissue staining to apply study results to the impact of tissue mechanics on tumor risk, initiation, and progression in mouse mammary models and human breast tissues, and collaborate with colleagues at UCSF to validate whether the mechanism applies to other cancer types. Specialist appointed at the Full rank must have a PhD (or equivalent degree) in biology, chemistry, bioengineering, or a related field or at least 10 or more years of research experience. See Table 24B for the salary range for this position. A reasonable estimate for this position is $86,900 - $181,800.
