Position Summary The Day Camp Program Coordinator implements and oversees ongoing programs and events developed and coordinated by Long Beach Red Shield. Duties will include, but not limited to, preparation and execution of community and congregationally based programs, oversight of volunteers and staff associated with programs and events, coordination with facility support individuals and volunteer coordinator, copying, filing, reports, and phone answering. As part of the Long Beach Red Shield program team, all employees share the following expectations and assigned duties: Values: work with other staff, volunteers, and members to instill positive attitudes, life skills development, Christian values, and service to others. Safety: ensure the safe participation of all members, guests and fellow staff in center activities and programs, adhering to center safety policies and procedures. Maintenance: assist in the proper care and maintenance of the facility and equipment following designated maintenance procedures assigned by supervisors. Security: work with center staff and directors to monitor and maintain the security of our facility. Special Events: assist center staff as required in the planning, development and implementation of special events and programs throughout the day camp program schedule. Employees may also be requested to perform other reasonable business- related duties by their immediate supervisor or center Essential Function
Working Conditions Must be able to sit, walk, stand, bend, squat, climb, kneel, and twist on intermittent or sometimes continuous basis. Must be able to grasp, push, and pull objects such as general office and small recreational equipment. Must be able to lift up to 25 lbs. Minimum Qualifications

Education
High School or Equivalent (required)
Experience
Accounting and Book-Keeping Experience. (required)
