Spearhead the development of captivating internal and external communications that will highlight the New York State Canal Corporation strategic priorities, day-to-day maintenance, and operations along the iconic New York State Canal system as the lead Public Information Officer. Collaborate with a dynamic team of experts from Public Engagement, Marketing, Internal Communications, Digital departments, and media representatives ensuring that our message resonates across all platforms and leaves a lasting impression in every interaction. As the face of the Canal Corporation, you'll be responsible for planning and executing informative press conferences and events that will inspire audiences interested in learning more. Physical Requirements
Up to 10% travel primarily within NY State. The New York Power Authority is committed to providing fair, competitive, and market-informed compensation. The target salary range for this position is: $95,470.00 - $131,270.00. The salary offered will be determined based on the successful candidates' relevant experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities.
