In this role, you will:

• Provide application teams a CI process for new application repositories
• Develop solutions promoting push button deployments from dev to prod through either common Open Source Toolchains such as Jenkins, Maven, Git, Nexus/Artifactory, Java/.NET, Groovy, Selenium, Chef, Puppet, Ansible, or Azure DevOps.
• Build a version control(git) repository strategy + structure including naming conventions, versioning, ordering, privileges, and standards for our customers
• Train the DevOps team(s) to automate the setup of the jobs in Jenkins (or other CI/CD product) as a self-service to developers and also uplift skills around creating a CI/CD ecosystem.
• Guide DevOps teams to set ongoing standards around versioning, naming conventions, 3rd Party Libraries, Schedulers, Build Job standards, notifications/alerts & dashboards that show real-time metrics.
• Lead DevOps tool automation across IT operations, infrastructure, QA, security, compliance, and development
• Provide expertise on the selection, implementation, and use of DevOps CI/CD automation tools
• Provide approaches, roadmaps, resource and budget estimates to support delivering envisioned work
• Create tools to allow development teams to self-serve their platform needs.

Who you are:

• 3 - 5 years experience
• Experience with the Azure ecosystem
• Experience migrating from Team City and Octopus Deploy to Azure DevOps (Preferred) or Github Actions
• Linux/Windows server administration
• Production system monitoring tools and frameworks
• Experience in using CI/CD tooling (Octopus Deploy, TeamCity, Azure DevOps, etc)
• Experience writing automation tools and scripts (PowerShell, Terraform, Python, Bash, YAML, etc)
• Very strong verbal/written communication skills & excellent attention to detail
• Ability to collaborate with the Engineering team as well as work independently on projects
