The Role:

Cognizant is looking for an experienced and innovative Lead .Net Full Stack Engineer to serve our diverse base of global clients. As a member of our team, you will build brand new, cloud-based software that powers modern business. An ideal candidate is someone who enjoys working in a diverse, collaborative, geographically distributed team. Work Authorization

Location: Johnston, RI

Responsibilities:



  • Experience: 9+years experience.
  • A .NET Full Stack Engineer is responsible for the design, development, and maintenance of software applications using the .NET framework.
  • This includes working with technologies such as C#, ASP.NET, and Entity Framework, as well as front-end web development technologies such as ReactJs, Typescript, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
  • The Full Stack Engineer will be involved in all aspects of the software development life cycle, including requirement gathering, design, development, testing, and deployment.
  • Strong technical skills and experience with both front-end and back-end development is essential for this role.
  • Good knowledge DDD design patterns, CQRS, and Clean architecture are mandatory.
  • Good hands-on in ReactJs is expected.
  • The Full Stack Engineer will be able to develop, test, and deploy web applications, web services, and other software systems.
  • They will also be able to collaborate with other team members, including other engineers, product managers, and stakeholders to deliver high-quality software on time.


Qualifications



  • Proven experience in .NET, .Net Programming-C# .Net, React, React JS, and Next JS is required.
  • Strong understanding of Rest API and GraphQL is essential.
  • Experience with Cloud Technologies like Azure
  • Experience with Agile development methodologies
  • Experience in Property & Casualty Insurance domain is highly desirable.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills are crucial.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills are necessary.
  • A commitment to achieving project goals and deadlines is expected.
  • Experience in DDD design patterns, CQRS, and Clean architecture


Salary and Other Compensation:

Applications will be accepted until 6/1/2024

The annual salary for this position is between $102K - $140K depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

This position is also eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant's applicable plans.
