Under general supervision, and in addition to performing the full range of operational level duties, responsible for administering licensed social service programs or relevant work. Provides licensed social work services consisting of discharge planning, continuing care services, and clinical social work services, including crisis intervention, mandated reporting, information and referral, and coordination of health and mental health services with community providers. The Clinical Social Worker is responsible for educating and advocating for patients and families, running support groups, and will be required to collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, departments across UC San Diego Health, as well as outside agencies. The Clinical Social Worker II/III participates in related department meetings and functions. This Clinical Social Worker II/III may also be asked to cover other disease teams as needed. Performs all other duties as assigned. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Pay Transparency Act Annual Full Pay Range: $82,747 - $109,021 (will be prorated if the appointment percentage is less than 100%) Hourly Equivalent: $39.63 - $52.21 Factors in determining the appropriate compensation for a role include experience, skills, knowledge, abilities, education, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs. The Hiring Pay Scale referenced in the job posting is the budgeted salary or hourly range that the University reasonably expects to pay for this position. The Annual Full Pay Range may be broader than what the University anticipates to pay for this position, based on internal equity, budget, and collective bargaining agreements (when applicable). |
