Job Description Summary
The Graduate Assistant (GA) for the office of University Advancement is responsible for providing project and daily assistance to the Manager of University Advancement Services and the Donor Database Coordinator, including but not limited to: filing, copying, updating the donor database, running queries on a weekly basis to look for referential integrity issues in the database, communicating with Student Records to obtain/confirm information on alums that are not in Banner, accessing Banner to obtain/confirm information on alums that are in Banner.

The GA also works to support projects on and off campus such as, Alumni Gatherings, President's Circle Dinner, De La Salle Awards, and Commencements.
Responsibilities
Responsible to model the University Mission through dedicated job performance, excellent service to constituencies, respectful collaboration and active support of the University's Mission and Catholic, Lasallian higher education.

-Provide daily administrative support services to the Manager of University Advancement Services and to the Donor Database Coordinator with programs and special projects.
-Attend department and other advancement meetings as directed.
-Heavy duty updating of constituent records in the database.
-Establish and maintain effective and cooperative relationships with coworkers in all university departments.
-Perform any additional related tasks as required.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree required. Must be a graduate student enrolled in one of Lewis University's graduate programs who has skills and interests related to higher education external relations. Demonstrated computer skills, especially with Microsoft Excel, oral and written communications skills and a keen sense of responsibility are required. Ability to work on a computer for long periods of time. Attention to detail is an absolute must in this position.
