The primary professional responsibilities of the
Instructor, Business Analytics Faculty Position is to provide outstanding teaching, scholarly research, and service to the Lewis and external communities.
Responsible to model the University Mission through dedicated job performance, service excellence to constituencies, and respectful collaboration and active support of the University's Mission and Catholic and Lasallian higher education.
Essential Duties:
1. Teach a variety of undergraduate level Business Analytics courses, in traditional, hybrid and online formats.
3. 24 credit hour teaching load per contract year.
4. Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills necessary to impart
Business Analytics concepts and theories to students and other vested parties.
4. Establish and maintain office hours to assist students and foster positive interaction with colleagues and external parties.
5. Advise undergraduate students on program progression and academic success. Additionally, mentor graduate and undergraduate students on professional development.
6. Actively participate in College/University Committees, scholarly pursuits, student recruitment, and other various duties as assigned by the Dean and Department Chair.
7. Knowledge of, and participation in, curriculum development and program assessment.
8. Actively engage in the Business Analytics profession including current topics and trends within the field.
9. Demonstrated abilities in establishing, growing and promoting the undergraduate and graduate Business Analytics programs within the College, University and broader community.
