As a Market Research Analyst for the Content Licensing Team, you will be responsible for researching and identifying potential new publishing partner websites for Cision to distribute its news releases as well as monitoring and expanding existing publishing partner relationships.
Reporting to the Manager, Online Content Distribution, with input from key internal stakeholders, you will help identify topics of interest to Cision's clients. You will perform research within those topics, identifying prospective websites and gathering the necessary information about them to conduct a successful sales campaign. You will provide regular reports including summaries and recommendations to the manager. You will keep a record and archive of your work for reference on future projects. You will work on expanding current publishing partner relationships by offering them opportunities to participate in ongoing projects such as our virtual media coffee podcast interviews.

Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Maintain and increase the presence of our news feeds on target websites
  • Respond to sales queries in a timely and accurate manner
  • Participate in departmental tasks and projects, ensuring successful completion of your task
  • Ensure the quality standards of service are achieved
  • Conduct audit on existing publishing partners websites
  • Participate in virtual podcast interviews
Essential Skills & Experience:
  • At least 1 year experience in Media Research/ PR
  • Ability to take direction well
  • Excellent time and people management skills
  • Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communications skills
  • Computer literate (MS Office)
  • Ability to prioritize
  • Motivated self-starter with the ability to self-manage
  • Teamwork
  • Previous experience in podcast creation is preferred
For Individuals based in New York, Colorado, Washington, and California, Cision is required to disclose a salary range for this role. This compensation range of $40,000 - $50,000 is specific to these states, however base pay may vary depending on a range of relevant factors.
