COE Member Advocate
What you will be doing: The Member Advocate position will function as the primary resource for nonclinical patient support for the Centers of Excellence and nontraditional TPA lines of business, patients and services.

Educate patients on benefits via telephone or electronically and respond to member questions and issues in a timely fashion, always showing care and concern. Review incoming facility and member communication to appropriately triage work activity. Resolve issues as appropriate and/or alert staff of concerns, providing solutions for consideration. Participate in team environment to support an innovative healthcare delivery process and foster collaboration and continually process improvement. Communicate with patients, providers, facilities and third party vendors to address opportunities for process improvements. Address member and or provider concerns, acting as a liaison between departments, establishing priorities, deadlines and resolution communication. Request, collect, file and route member documentation for review, processing and storage. Identify and resolve discrepancies in the application of benefits as needed. Assist in the review and processing of patient claims and monitor progress to ensure optimal flow, patient satisfaction and client value. Support team with operational functions as needed.

Travel Requirements: No travel required
Physical Demands: Sedentary: Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally, and/or a negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects, including the human body. Sedentary work involves remaining stationary most of the time. Jobs are sedentary if movement is required only occasionally, and all other sedentary criteria are met.
Premier's compensation philosophy is to ensure that compensation is reasonable, equitable, and competitive in order to attract and retain talented and highly skilled employees. Premier's internal salary range for this role is $34,000 - $64,000. Final salary is dependent upon several market factors including, but not limited to, departmental budgets, internal equity, education, unique skills/experience, and geographic location. Premier utilizes a wide-range salary structure to allow base salary flexibility within our ranges.
