Job Summary
Job Summary

Under the direction of the Director of Technology Services, upgrades and administers district network file and application servers including, but not limited to, Novell Netware, web, domain name system (DNS), dynamic host configuration protocol (DHCP), Microsoft Windows Servers, Microsoft structured query language (SQL) and Linux servers. Provides district-wide information systems management support, coordination of the overall operation of data network systems, software support, infrastructure design and operations. Installs and maintains complex applications, prepares cost/benefit analysis of hardware/software solutions, acts as security officer for district networks and oversees other network administration.

Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in computer science or related technical field and four years of experience managing a mutiprotocol network, complex applications, and server environment. Additional experience may be substituted for higher education on the basis of two years of experience for one year of college. Valid California driver's license.
