Job Description Summary Job Description: KEY RESPONSIBILITIES (other duties as assigned):*Fabricate metal material according to La-Z-Boy quality requirements. *Operate press, machine maintenance to maximize program yields. *Load die and set up the machine, adjusting for each job. *Keep all moving parts of machine lubricated. *Operate forklift or pallet jack to relocate materials, supplies, and parts as needed. *Inspect work visually for defects according to our quality standards *Proper cleaning and maintenance of equipment *Ability to operate equipment in a safe, accurate and efficient manner. *Rework non-conforming parts as necessary. *Control quality and waste. *Demonstrates teamwork and motivation for job requirements. *Follow health and safety standards. *Maintain a clean work area. JOB REQUIREMENTS: *Equivalent combination of education and experience to perform the above duties *Basic reading, writing and math skills *Ability to read complex print specifications *Use and understand measuring tools (micrometer, calipers, etc.) *Ability to lift 50 pounds. *Basic computer skills *Obtain PIV license *Achieve performance standards *Excellent attendance; 3 points or less. *No safety written warnings PREFERRED REQURMENTS: *Bilingual SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: None OUR PURPOSE: We are La-Z-Boy Incorporated.
