Senior Technical Accountant - Hybrid Opportunity

Position Overview:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Senior Technical Accountant to join our team. This role requires a strong grasp of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), statutory reporting and financial principles, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities:

• Reviewing and analyzing financial statements and financial reports.
• Prepare financial reports.
• Develop financial projections & perform financial forecasting to support business planning.
• Assist with monthly close processes.
• Execution of internal controls to comply with Sarbanes Oxley (SOX)

• Provide support for month-end, quarter-end and year-end accounting closes, including assisting in the Company's intercompany reconciliation process as well as preparation of various Corporate Holding Companies

• Perform research and analysis as required.
• Ensure compliance with financial guidelines, including lease accounting; company policies; and relevant legal regulations.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support business initiatives and projects
• Stay up to date with industry trends and best practices in financial analysis and reporting.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting required.
• 4+ years of experience in financial analysis or related field.
• GAAP Reporting experience required.
• Ability to interpret complex financial data.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
• Detail-oriented and able to perform in a high-pressure environment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Experience with statutory accounting principles preferred.
