Position Objective:

Porsche North America Internship opportunities are designed to promote both career development and functional expertise for the intern, as well as to complete project-related and day-to-day support for the department. Primary Responsibilities:



  • Work directly with key personnel in Vehicle Distribution to understand department objectives and approach
  • Tests model ordering in the PVMS configurator prior to public releases including assuring option relationships are correct
  • Assist in the administration of vehicle price protection of mid-year model price increases
  • Orders of launch cars and other centrally ordered vehicles
  • Assist in the administration of fleet vehicles
  • Distribute market introduction vehicles to dealers
  • Maintain Option Availability communication to US dealers
  • Support Sales Operations dealer training and preparation
  • Perform ad hoc queries and analysis
  • Support the Vehicle Distribution team in daily operations
  • Available to work Mon - Fri up to 40 hours a week
  • Available to work in office at least twice per week
  • Open and available to travel as needed


QualificationsQualifications

Education:



  • Recent graduate or Juniors/Seniors currently attaining Bachelor's Degree in Business with focus on Marketing, Finance/Accounting, IT, Communications, Engineering or comparable study is required
  • Previous Internships in Corporate environments preferred
  • Experience or knowledge in luxury automotive would be ideal
  • Languages (German, Spanish, French) is a plus but not a requirement


Skills:



  • Study in the field of Business Administration or a comparable study with focus on Sales, International Management, or Logistics
  • Excellent grasp of Microsoft Office applications, specifically Excel
  • SAP basic knowledge preferred
  • Ability to work in a multicultural team
  • Talent in organization and independent working style
  • Customer service focus
  • Automotive affinity
  • Fluency in English
  • Desire for continuous development and learning opportunities
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and time management skills



We are seeking an individual who can commence asap for a 6-month period, committing to 40 hours per week. The role will involve a 50/50 hybrid arrangement, alternating between remote work and on-site presence at our Atlanta office.
