We are currently seeking a full-time Talent Acquisition Advisor to perform full life cycle recruiting nationwide. This position is remote and can be located anywhere in the United States but preference is in the MST or PST zones. This role will support recruitment for Humanitarian positions in an assigned division to include roles in Disaster and Volunteer Services.

WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW:

Successful recruiters on this team will utilize their experience in setting benchmarks and tracking against metrics to meet hiring targets. They thrive in an innovative, fast-paced environment, can roll up their sleeves, work hard, and have fun to get the job done. They draw on extensive knowledge of Talent Acquisition and functional areas of the business, forging dynamic relationships with business leaders and hiring managers.

This role is responsible for consulting with both Hiring Managers and HR colleagues throughout recruitment assignments, as well as developing in-depth strategic recruiting plans and recommending and implementing plans that will attract top talent for the American Red Cross. This role will also develop and maintain current talent pipeline for assigned positions in critical markets, including a diversity component, by utilizing a wide variety of passive candidate sourcing techniques (research, data mining, CRM database, direct solicitation, various recruitment technologies, etc).

WHERE YOUR CAREER IS A FORCE FOR GOOD:

  • Evaluate candidates based on employment factors such as job experience, education and training, skills, knowledge and abilities, and other data pertinent to the selection and referral of candidates.

  • Partner with hiring managers to build effective sourcing and recruitment plans.

  • Recommend ideas and strategies related to recruitment that will contribute to the future growth of the American Red Cross.

  • Source passive candidates through employee referrals, networking, internal databases, contact lists, and research.

  • Articulate in writing recruiting plans with deliverables, timelines, and a formal tracking process.

Pay Information: $65,000-$75,000 annually. This position will be posted for a minimum of five business days and extended if the applicant pool needs to be expanded.

WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED (Minimum Qualifications):

  • Bachelor's degree required or equivalent combination of education and related experience.
    Minimum 3 years related experience required.

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, organizational and negotiation skills.

  • Ability to execute recruiting strategy, including employer promotion in the marketplace, candidate management, diversity sourcing, and interview process management.

  • Self-sufficient and able to work with little direct supervision in a fast-paced environment.

  • Strong consulting skills and demonstrated ability to work in a team environment.

  • Ability to proactively network and establish effective working relationships, continually seek new sourcing options, and develop creative approaches to delivering candidates

  • May travel and participate in meetings and conferences throughout chapter jurisdiction, state, and Red Cross system.
