The American Red Cross is currently seeking a Strategic Partner Manager. This is a work from home position with travel.

WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW:
The Strategic Partner Manager will support the growth and development of assigned Strategic Partners by providing ongoing customer service through day-to-day support to increase customer loyalty, class delivery, longevity, and meeting business demand. program implementation, staff development and quality assurance.

This role is responsible for ensuring that classes facilitated by Strategic Partners are delivered according to Red Cross policies, procedures, and business processes. The Strategic Partner, Manager is also responsible for the rollout, management, and confirmation of all strategic initiatives/ program implementation, as well as other program support activities such as onboarding, training, partner development and coaching, quality assurance, business compliance, expense management, and course observations. Responsible for executing and meeting the strategic recruitment plan, acquisition management, and capacity development based on budget and market demands.

WHERE YOUR CAREER IS A FORCE GOOD (Key Responsibilities):

  • Training: Develops and ensures that quality instruction is provided to meet demand for Training Services. Training is delivered in a proficient, professional manner, meeting all course content requirements. Conducts onboarding and/or orientation sessions and arranges on-the-job training and mentoring process for new partners. Responsible for arranging ongoing technical training for current partner cadre. Ensures that high quality training will be delivered. Ensure credentialing of all assigned partner Instructors meet American Red Cross, State and Local requirements.
  • Compliance: Responsible for implementing and applying quality assurance and control programs for partners. Ensures that proper ARC protocols are followed to protect the organization's customers and staff who participate in Training Services activities, e.g. class ratio, adequate adult supervision for youth courses and certificates of insurance. Responsible for compliance through regular observations and communications with all assigned partner instructors. Provide random reviews of partner instructors and ensure they are delivering courses to standard.
  • Resource Management: Ensures partners have the technology, equipment, systems, or other assets that will improve the quality of the delivery of Training Services. Manage key metrics to ensure process control, achievement of productivity targets, expense management, invoice management and identification of leading indicators of performance issues. Provide leadership and advocacy to assess performance improvement needs by evaluating information from multiple and diverse sources. Uncovers root causes to difficult problems. Evaluates pros and cons, risks and benefits of different solution options. Ensures team is responsive to deadlines, business policies, and submitting error free work. Maintains the management of the strategic partner expenses with a focus on cost controls per event and by ensuring partner coverage areas meet business demand. Ensures stakeholders positions are understood, represented, and considered.
  • Tech Savvy: Anticipates the impact of emerging technologies and makes adjustments. Scans the environment for new technical skills, knowledge, or capabilities that can benefit business or personal performance. Rejects low-impact or fad technologies. Readily learns and adopts new technologies.
  • Communications: Engages in regular communications with partner leadership. Engages in regular communications with partners regarding programmatic changes, quality management issues, and business performance standards. Invites input and shares ownership, ensures accountability,and visibility.Is confident under pressure, resilient, handles and manages conflict and emergency situations effectively, facilitates decision making, change management, reconciles, and solves discrepancies, makes recommendations, and implements related actions. Maintains a positive attitude despite adversity, bounces back from setbacks.

Adherence to Policy and Procedures: Ensures adherence to Service Delivery policies and processes for partners, utilizing operational reports to measure partner success. Ensures partner compliance with current policies and processes. Works closely with Senior Director, Partner Services and uses reports to make business decisions related to staffing, program delivery, process, and operational recommendations. that are fiscally responsible and in accordance with organization policies, procedures, and business goals. Accountable for status and other business reports.

  • On-call Support: Take part in the department's on-call rotation process in effort to support instructional staff and/or others (i.e., contractors, chapters) generally including after regular business hours, weekends, and holidays. Responsible for coordination of any support needed including communication and resolution of the situation or issue presented. Required to have immediate access to a computer, telephone, and Internet connection.
  • Personnel Support: Provides development training and coaching for partners. Ensures credentialing of all instructors meet American Red Cross, State and Local requirements. Implement ongoing loop for customer feedback. Develops partners through regular class observations, consistent business coaching, and constructive feedback.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.

* Standard Schedule: Monday-Friday 8:00am-5:00pm Times may vary based on travel

*Pay Information: The salary range for this position is $77,904. -$103,872 -Note that American Red Cross salaries are aligned to the specific geographic location in which the work is primarily performed. Other factors that may be used to determine your actual salary may include your specific skills, how many years of experience you have and comparison to other employees already in this role.

This job will be posted for a minimum of five business days and extended if the applicant pool needs to be expanded.

WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED:

  • Qualifications

    Education: Bachelor's degree required.

    Experience: Minimum 5 years of related experience or equivalent combination of education and related experience required.

    Management Experience: N/A

    Skills & Abilities: Strong problem-solving and communication skills required. Demonstrated proficiency with the full Microsoft Office suite of products required. Ability to work on a team.

    Travel: Some travel may be required.

    *Combination of candidate's education and general experience satisfies requirements so long as the total years equate to description's minimum education and general experience years combined (Management experience cannot be substituted).

    Physical Requirements

    Physical requirements are those present in normal office environment conditions. Operational flexibility is required to meet sudden and unpredictable needs. Ability to use a personal computer, applicable software, and office equipment for sustained periods of time. May include sitting for long periods of time, driving a vehicle, and working under challenging conditions.
