Job Description:

Position Title: Global Demand Planner

Location: Bothell, WA

Reporting to: Director, Global Materials Management

Open to Relocation: No

On-Site/Hybrid/Remote:Remote/Hybrid

Travel Required: 0-5%

In this role, this person will support global MRP implementations and the data analysis behind product moves, new programs or sunsetting programs. This role will be responsible for analyzing sales, stock, reviewing historical sales trends and modeling the data to forecast future demand. This person will be responsible for collecting and evaluating data about raw material, procurement, storage, inventory management, product manufacturing and delivery. Maintaining and developing a deep understanding of global production operations is critical in generating relevant insights.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Create processes and methods to gather relevant supply chain data

  • Develop global standard for Materials reporting and forecasting in a BI platform

  • Analyze data to identify problematic areas and suggest improvements

  • Plan and implement supply chain optimization projects

  • Develop requirements and standards (e.g. packaging, procurement, delivery, warehousing)

  • Collaborate with IT professionals to implement effective systems and forecasting tools

  • Track KPIs and report on supply chain's performance

  • Functional analyst / resource for MRP implementations

  • Develops tools to identify data gaps from MRP & DMD Planning perspectives

  • Functional lead for system setup and maintenance related to new sites / model change / updates

  • Owns global part forecasting

  • ADHOC Data Requests

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree required; Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, Engineering, Business Management or Logistics preferred

  • Strong background in mathematics and data management

  • Experience as a Supply Chain Analyst, Logistics Coordinator or similar role

  • Experience in data mining, analysis and reporting

  • SQL / Python / R

  • Familiarity with supply chain processes (e.g.inventory planning, production management)

  • Working knowledge of MS Office, relational databases, Oracle and MRP systems

  • Analytical mind with business acumen

  • Problem-solving aptitude

  • Attention to detail

  • Excellent communication skills

  • Outstanding organizational ability

  • Demonstrated ability to drive process improvements

  • Strong analytical skills

  • Excellent written and oral communication

The compensation range for this position is $79,000 -110,000 annually. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, location, etc.
