Are you motivated by discovering and translating a client's business requirements into specific systems, applications or process designs for very large complex technology solutions?

In addition to providing product specialized skills to administer, maintain, monitor, and troubleshoot technology environments whilst managing client satisfaction, maintaining client communication, and the overall management of the client relationship? The Resident Automation Advisors within our Agile Operations Division (AOD) are Broadcom's most experienced professional services experts who provide thought leadership and hands-on technical expertise to our most important customers. Automation Residents are the Trusted Advisor that our customers depend on for strategy, product insight, technical architecture, mentoring, and when needed, leading by example for deployment, configuration, and integration of Broadcom solutions.

This position will work with the Automation family of Broadcom Software, primarily with Autosys Workload Automation. Experience with public cloud platforms such as Azure, Google Cloud Platform (GCP), Amazon Web Services (AWS), as well as DevOps toolchains are key to helping unlock the power of Autosys to bridge their on premise and cloud workloads. IT architecture experience, and experience managing a workgroup that packages automation as services to the rest of the business are also desired.

This position must be seen by the customer as bringing tangible value in terms of experience, knowledge and expertise. As a Resident Automation Advisor you'll be responsible for strategic and tactical engagements with large enterprise customers helping to build and grow value with our enterprise portfolio of Automation solutions including:

Responsibilities

  • Work with customer leadership to understand their IT challenges and work with the customers architects to design a solution, while working with frontline customer support personnel to identify the root cause(s) of potential outages, and spend time analyzing the performance of the Broadcom solution and developing configurations to improve performance.
  • Residents are continually learning - maintaining ongoing awareness of new Broadcom solution functionality and overall IT domain knowledge, and disseminating that knowledge to their customers and teams.
  • Building relationships across customer's or partner's IT silos and offerings to understand, build, document and share our knowledge of their infrastructure, challenges and potential technical impact of planned projects.
  • Identify and lead adoption strategy and activities with key customers.
  • Maintain understanding of the Agile Operations Divisions (AOD) capabilities across the entire automation value stream. Work closely with Product Management and Product Engineering to learn then apply new product feature/functions
  • Maintain understanding of 3rd party solutions and tools related to the domain.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders across Sales, R&D, Services,and Management to ensure synergy and consistency across solutions (in terms of technology, architecture and roadmap) in assigned customers.
  • Maintain customer adoption information.
  • Lead the Deployment, Configuration and Integration of Software in both Pilot and Production capacity, and assist with validation against success criteria
  • Create and troubleshoot Technical and Business Process issues, including root-cause analysis
  • Interact with Product Support and Product Engineering to Open, Track and Resolve Product issues
  • Lead ongoing maintenance and improvement of methodologies and document templates
  • Automating workloads across public, private and hybrid cloud environments

To qualify for this position, you will:

  • Have a bachelor's and 8+ years of related experience or master's degree and 6+ years of experience in a technology or business related discipline.
  • Strong background with Broadcom Software's Automation solutions including Automic Automation, Automic Automation Intelligence, AutoSys and ESP d-series or related competitive solution.
  • Additional experience with competitive technologies would be a plus.
  • Eager and willing to understand our customers 'why'
  • Skills necessary to shift customer from relationship to partnership
  • Ability to understand customer business problems and clearly formulate and articulate software solutions to solve those problems.
  • Ability to interact with business users to discuss and document business requirements, and then translate those requirements into a working application.
  • A broad understanding of business and IT management.
  • Strong presentation skills, including software demonstration skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Compensation and Benefits

The annual base salary range for this position is $91,200- $152,000

This position is also eligible for a discretionary annual bonus in accordance with relevant plan documents, and equity in accordance with equity plan documents and equity award agreements.
