Technical Support Specialist II

As a Technical Support Specialist II, you will use MS 365 telephone system to answer incoming customer calls for all Quality Systems products. Use MS Outlook to respond to incoming emails from customers, sales, selling regions, distributors, and supporting departments. Document customer communications in Salesforce Lightning CRM systems and follow up with customers for timely closure of the cases. Use of supporting tools to provide accurate and timely response to internal and external customers. Troubleshoot, investigate, order or replace products, educate and provide information. Complete given projects in a timely manner.

How You'll Make An Impact:



  • Provide support to external and internal customers, marketing, Sales, selling units, distributors, product support and manufacturers.
  • Troubleshoot, investigate, review, order or replace products, educate and provide information.
  • Detail documentation of customer calls in Salesforce CRM database.
  • Monthly and quarterly review of assigned products to prepare trending reports and timely closure of open cases.
  • Initiate investigation when product performance is identified and communicate opportunities in product improvement to internal staff and management.
  • Provide work leadership and participate in the training and development of lower level personnel when is necessary.


What You Bring:



  • Bachelor of Science degree in Molecular Biology or equivalent working experience in molecular diagnostics, molecular research or related life science, or technical discipline. Requires foundation of molecular principle, technology and demonstrate ability to apply and communicate practical scientific/technical knowledge.
  • 2+ years work experience in laboratory setting (clinical laboratory, molecular laboratory, research laboratory, clinical diagnostics or manufacturing industry).
  • Basic knowledge of PC-based computer use & Microsoft Office programs. Familiarity with CRM & ERP application is a plus.
  • Work in a call center such as customer service, technical support is a plus.
  • Self starter, work with minimal supervision, team player.

Compensation: The estimated base salary range for this position is $59,100 - $101,000 at the time of posting. This range is inclusive of all geographic locations within the United States. Actual compensation will be provided in writing at the time of offer, if applicable, and is based on several factors we believe fairly and accurately impact compensation, including geographic location, experience, knowledge, skills, abilities, and other job permitted factors. This position is also eligible for a variable annual bonus, which is dependent upon achievement of your individual objectives and Company performance.
