Procurement Specialist II

As a Bio-Rad Procurement Specialist II, you will work within Global Supply Chain Procurement to manage the source and supply of OEM/Resale items. You will provide proficiency in and utilize SAP and Kinaxis systems to monitor demand, manage deliveries, and place orders. You will communicate daily with suppliers to build relationships and avoid backorders. Lead and collaborate with teammates and cross-functional stakeholders. You will be a point person for negotiating supply agreements, quality agreements, and contract pricing and will add to efficiencies by maintaining accurate master data. As a level II Procurement Specialist, you will work on projects of moderate scope and complexity and will apply company policies and procedures to resolve a variety of issues.

How You'll Make an Impact:



  • You are proactive and on time with purchase order placement and follow through.
  • You enjoy maintaining great supplier relations facilitating on time deliveries and metric adherence.
  • You efficiently solve issues with a sense of urgency, setting up team meetings, and driving corrective actions.
  • You provide timely management of Invoice Workflows in SAP to assure on time payment and credit hold avoidance.
  • You have experience in identifying strategies for quality improvement, process efficiencies, cost reductions, supplier consolidations, and procurement procedures with standardization.


What You Bring:



  • Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Business, Procurement, Supply Chain Management, or related discipline.
  • Work Experience: 6+ years work experience in Procurement, Supply Assurance Buying, Demand Buying, Materials Management, or related field; including full knowledge and application of procurement and supply chain principles and theories.
  • Proficient in SAP, Kinaxis, and Microsoft Windows and Office (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint).
  • Ability to influence, engage, lead, and advise various stakeholders across the business from senior executives down. Strong written and oral communication skills required.
  • Strong Adherence and understanding of Metric Performance Measurements

Compensation: The estimated base salary range for this position is $91,500 to $125,900 at the time of posting. Actual compensation will be provided in writing at the time of offer, if applicable, and is based on several factors we believe fairly and accurately impact compensation, including geographic location, experience, knowledge, skills, abilities, and other job permitted factors. This position is eligible for a variable annual bonus, which is dependent upon achievement of your individual objectives and Company performance.
