Duties/Responsibilities


Duties/Responsibilities
  • Design and execute studies to develop animal models of vaccination against and infection, including assessment of therapeutic antibodies, virologic and immunologic endpoints, and pathogenicity. Collect, analyze and report data from studies, including detailed record-keeping and use of standard operating procedures.

  • Develop, validate, and implement virologic, immunologic, and molecular biology assays and tools, including high-dimensional flow cytometry, single-cell RNAseq, and similar complex analyses. Generate Standard Operating Procedures, troubleshoot as needed, train other laboratory members, and maintain the resources for these assays and tools.

  • Oversee and advance collaborative research project(s) with internal and external collaborators. Effectively communicate with collaborators, both orally and via written communication. Provide data, results, and project summaries in written and presentation formats. Meet agreed upon milestones and deadlines.
