Job Summary:

The Allstate Benefits Financial Senior Consultant communicates financial results to business partners for key products, markets and initiatives, develops in-depth story lines to deepen client insights, and recommends creative actions to guide strategy and operations. This role formulates financial projections to predict and track performance, diagnose potential issues and prompt corrective actions.

Key Responsibilities:

* Isolate key drivers, quantify impacts, and forecast implications to the business recognizing how different data points fit together and integrating cross functional knowledge and/or sources

* Build compelling storyline for financial updates to collaborate with business partners

* Manage analysis projects of low to moderate complexity, addressing ambiguous business issues

* Use analysis to influence and drive action within finance, leadership and our business partners by using fact-based, holistic and forward-looking perspectives to identify emerging issues and current trends, and assist in implementation of strategies

* Provide accurate, timely reports with financial insight to allow business partners to improve performance

* Develop and participate in effective presentations for large groups

This job does not have supervisory duties.
Preferred Education and Experience:

* 4 year Bachelors Degree (Preferred)

* 3 or more years of experience (Preferred)

* In lieu of the above education requirements, an equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:

* No Certification, License or Registration is required for the job.

Functional Skills:

* Advanced business knowledge (i.e.; deep financial skills/flow of the numbers)

* Strong working knowledge of financial and accounting concepts

* Advanced analytical and financial model building skills

* Intermediate consulting skills

* Strong oral and written communication skills, able to work effectively with employees both internal and external to the finance function

* Strong interpersonal skills to work effectively in a team environment

* Advanced time management skills and organization skills with the ability to adapt to the changing needs of the business

* Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and working knowledge Microsoft Office

* Inspire trust and confidence in clients through strategic and diplomatic handling of relationships

* Intellectual curiosity and drive for continuous improvement, both personally and with work assignments

Compensation offered for this role is$63,500.00-$108,500.00 per yearand is based on experience and qualifications.

The candidate(s) offered this position will be required to submit to a background investigation, which includes a drug screen.
