Job Summary:

The Retail Lead Generator, sources potential customers and sets-up appointments for the Replacement Sales Retail team in "Big Box" retail locations. This position is the first step in the prospecting process and the Retail team relies on this role's persuasive abilities and creative methods of sourcing potential customers.

Essential Duties/Responsibilities*:

  • Daily mission is to generate excitement and increase Airtron brand awareness in retail Big Box store locations.
  • Discovers opportunities for the Replacement Sales team by sourcing prospective buyer leads for products and services in retail Big Box store locations.
  • Ability to demonstrate an immediate, positive impact on sales by generating qualified leads.
  • Achieves minimum expectations on 1 lead every 5 hours during peak months (May-September), 1 lead every 7 hours during off peak months (October-April).
  • Schedules lead appointments in coordination with the Airtron office staff.
  • Attends daily sales team call with Lead Generator Supervisor.
  • Presents products and answers questions to customers and Big Box associates.
  • Follows all company and Big Box store policies and procedures, including but not limited to safety and other local store security procedures as required
  • Other duties as assigned

Minimum Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • 1+ year's sales experience
  • Must be able to work evenings, weekends and holidays as assigned
  • Must be able to work Thursday-Sunday weekly
  • Must have reliable transportation and a valid driver's license
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • General computer competency

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Completed college course work

Working Conditions:
  • Big Box retail store environment during assigned shifts
  • May spend partial time in office environment

Physical Requirements:

  • Must be able to lift/move up to 10 pounds
  • May perform tasks requiring bending at the waist, kneeling or crouching
  • Must be able to adhere to long periods of standing, walking or sitting
  • Ability to hear, understand and distinguish speech and/or other sounds to operate phones or other office equipment safely.
  • With natural or corrected vision, able to see and focus for close, distance, peripheral vision with normal depth perception
  • Ability to express or exchange ideas by means of the spoken word to impart oral information to others
  • Ability to enter text or data into a computer by means of a traditional keyboard or 10-key numeric keypad
  • Must be able to use arms and hands to reach overhead, signal, grab, hold, lift, turn, push and pull objects and tools
