J oin our dynamic team as a Kubernetes Cloud Platform Technology Engineer Level III, where you will play a pivotal role in the evolution of multi-tenant Kubernetes platform. We are seeking an experienced professional with expertise in Kubernetes and cloud services. You will be responsible for ensuring the reliability and scalability of multi-tenant Kubernetes platform, implementing best practices, and contributing to the strategic transition from on-premises to cloud-based solutions. As a t rusted Kubernetes subject matter expert you will be sharing your expertise in deploying, integrating, optimizing, automating, and adopting the platform and cloud-based solutions.

As a Kubernetes Cloud Platform Technology Engineer Level III your responsibilities will include:
  • Design, implement and maintain a scalable and resilient multi-tenant Kubernetes platform.
  • Ownership of the entire Kubernetes stack and work towards improving the availability, and scalability.
  • Manage day-to-day operational tasks including upgrades, security patching, performance, capacity and troubleshoot issues.
  • Incident resolution, support coverage, issue categorization, post-mortem, and root cause analysis.
  • Improve the platform's capabilities to solve new use-cases (developer experience, simpler operations, and resilience) using cloud-native technologies and Kubernetes core capabilities.
  • Work closely with other platform teams to advance the company's overall capabilities for faster build, test, and release cycles of containerized applications.
  • Develop automations and APIs to optimize deployment of infrastructure and streamline adoption of containerization and Kubernetes.
  • Stay up to date with industry trends and best practices on containerization and Kubernetes.

  • You have knowledge and 5+ years of experience in administrating Kubernetes platform and troubleshooting.
  • You have knowledge and 3+ years of experience in Continuous Integration Technology (e.g., Harness, Codepipeline, Github, or related tools).
  • You have knowledge and 3+ years of experience in troubleshooting Container Technology (e.g., Kubernetes, Docker, ECR, BottleRocket ).
  • You have knowledge and 3+ years of experience working in AWS cloud and EKS.
  • You have knowledge of software development with understanding of application architecture with experience working in an Agile environment.
  • You have experience in scripting or development using Terraform, Python, Node.js/JavaScript, PowerShell, Golang or Bash.
  • You have a certificate, Diploma or bachelor's degree in information science / information technology, Data Science, Computer Science, Engineering or a related field OR equivalent experience in a technical position.
  • You have experience in web and application server technologies including deployment and troubleshooting (e.g., SpringBoot, Apache HTTPD, Nginx, .Netcore).
  • You have strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • You have knowledge and experience in networking including troubleshooting. ( e.g. routing, DNS, HTTPS/TLS, Ingress controller, packet capture analysis, etc. )
  • You have experience with Kubernetes container orchestration engines and containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubectl, EKS, AKS ).
  • You understand the concepts of high availability and scalable system design.


Southern California Base Salary Range: $131,596-$210,554

In addition to a highly competitive base salary, per plan guidelines, restrictions and vesting requirements, you also will be eligible for an individual annual performance bonus, plus Capital's annual profitability bonus plus a retirement plan where Capital contributes 15% of your eligible earnings.
