Senior Business Analyst

What will you be doing:

The Senior Business Analyst provides business rule requirements, quality assurance, enterprise analysis and consultation to the Supply Chain Data Management Services group as well as day-to-day oversight and maintenance of outsourced data operations with 3rd party service providers. The role will apply extensive business, process, and systems knowledge to validate business rules, technical requirements and data integrity of Premier data sources to meet audit compliance and data standards. The Senior Business Analyst will be the primary contact and liaison to the ITS group providing thought leadership and overall knowledge of Premier's Supply Chain applications to make sound technical decisions and offer recommendations to improve business applications. During these duties, the Senior BA will be expected to work on the development of any reports, databases, macros, etc. to assist in these functions. Additionally, the ideal candidate will possess strong skills in SSIS (SQL Server Integration Services) and advanced SQL query techniques.

Work Experience:

Years of Applicable Experience - 4 or more years

Education:

Bachelors

Preferred Qualifications

Relevant Experience to include:

  • SQL and data modeling concepts

  • System Development life cycle

  • T-SQL (Transact-SQL)

  • SSIS (SQL Server Integration Services)

  • Tableau

  • Power BI

  • Excel

  • Macro

Education:

Master's Degree

. . Premier's compensation philosophy is to ensure that compensation is reasonable, equitable, and competitive in order to attract and retain talented and highly skilled employees. Premier's internal salary range for this role is $80,000 - $148,000. Final salary is dependent upon several market factors including, but not limited to, departmental budgets, internal equity, education, unique skills/experience, and geographic location. Premier utilizes a wide-range salary structure to allow base salary flexibility within our ranges.
