Works independently in all acute and critical care settings. Consults with physicians and other personnel and makes recommendations on treatment as appropriate. Must possess skills necessary to treat patients of all ages to include infants, pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients. All team members are expected to be knowledgeable and compliant with Prisma Health values of compassion, dignity, excellence, integrity, and teamwork.RTs assigned to this job code have committed to accept assignments where they will work a full-time or part-time status with shifts on every weekend (starting Friday at 7:00pm through Monday at 7:30am). Minimum Requirements Associate's Degree - Graduate of a Respiratory Care Program by an accredited school In Lieu Of In lieu of associate degree will consider diploma and/or experience. Required Certifications, Registrations, Licenses South Carolina Respiratory Care Practitioner license Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) BLS NBRC (credentials must be maintained) Other certifications dependent on work unit : NRP, PALS, ACLS, NPS ACLS required within the first year for adult care areas NRP and PALS required in the Children's Hospital prior to working independently in the NICU and PICU Work Shift Weekend Shift (United States of America)Location Oconee Medical CampusFacility 1064 Oconee Memorial HospitalDepartment 10647135 Respiratory Care ServicesShare your talent with us!
