International Affairs Policy Strategy Analyst, Senior

The Opportunity:

With all the information available today, it takes a skilled intelligence analyst to know how to find and interpret the best data to give their clients the right answers. With the critical decisions made in our national space agency every day, we need an intel analyst like you to do just that.As an international affairs policy analyst, you use your specialized international affairs experience and your attention to detail to develop international agreements and artifacts to give your clients the actionable context and correspondence they need. If you have strong analytical skills and a problem-solving mindset, we have an opportunity to use those skills to help our national space leadership evolve and develop relationships with old and new international space partners.

As an international affairs analyst on our team, you'll help your client understand our national relationships with foreign partners beyond the bounds of space and intelligence. Using your understanding of our national overhead systems and our current intelligence and operational arrangements with our partners, you'll help in the development of new and evolving relationships that further national interests. You'll validate information and apply client tradecraft as you build assessments for the client. As the authority on international affairs and using your attention to detail and determination to excel, your client will look to you for time-critical recommendations, often under pressure.

This is a chance to grow your expertise, develop new skills in policy and space intelligence international affairs operations, and share your methodologies with other analysts. We focus on growing as a team to deliver the best support to our customers, so you'll have resources for mentoring and learning new skills and tools.

You Have:

  • 6+ years of experience with International Affairs policy
  • Knowledge of the national intelligence community (IC) and space programs
  • TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph
  • Bachelor's degree

Nice If You Have:

  • 9+ years of experience with International Affairs policy with countries having space access capabilities or agreements
  • Experience with supporting the IC agencies
  • Experience as a military action officer
  • Ability to be a motivated and energetic self-starter
  • Ability to work independently and pay strict attention to detail
  • Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Master's degree in International Affairs

Clearance:

Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; TS/SCI clearance with polygraph is required.

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $75,600.00 to $172,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees. This posting will close within 90 days from the Posting Date.
