Work Schedule Tuesday & Wednesday (in-person) 2pm - 6pm; Thursday & Friday (virtual) 9am - 2:30pm. Hours Up to 19.5 hours per week; hours subject to change depending on Department needs. Job Summary This is a part-time position and performs various duties: interacts and communicates with students, staff, and adjuncts in-person, online, phone, email, ConexED, chat; and provides guidance on college course material. Learn Computer Technology Department courses. Assists department in retention and student success efforts. Works under the direction of the Instructor Senior. Location of work: 1715 W. Northern Avenue Phoenix, AZ 85021 Essential Functions 40% - Responds to questions from students, staff, and adjuncts in-person, online, phone, email, or ConexED 20% - Creates training documents and videos to assist students, staff and adjuncts 20% - Participates in ongoing learning and training 20% - Provides assistance to department Minimum Qualifications A. Strong phone and verbal communication skills, along with active listening B. Effective written communication skills C. Experience troubleshooting basic computer issues D. Team player Desired Qualifications A. Prior experience in an educational environment assisting students and/or instructors with technology needs B. Experience in customer service environment, demonstrating support and building positive rapport C. Proficient with technology use, computer programs and software (e.g., MS Office, Adobe, Web Development, Google, databases, Operating Systems, online learning platforms) Special Working Conditions Required to sit for prolonged periods of time viewing a computer monitor.
