Plan and execute the experiments to genetically map the QTLs for traits of importance and perform genotyping or sequencing analysis of the populations, and perform genotyping for molecular breeding

Develop phenotyping methods and conduct phenotyping for the traits of importance in greenhouse or field environments

Perform statistical analyses of genotyping and phenotyping data; interpret the results; publish findings in peer-reviewed journals, present at conferences, and contribute to developing research proposals to secure external funding.

Engage in field-based breeding operations, including tasks like planting and harvesting and assist in writing the project progress report
