Job Summary Provides synchronous and asynchronous online instruction to adults to successfully acquire English language comprehension, fluency, and proficiency needed to transition to college or career pathways. Essential Functions 60% - Instructs adults in ELAA classes; Reading, Writing, Listening, Speaking, Civics, and Career Exploration 10% - Provides support to students engaging in Learning Management Systems 10% - Engages in student assessment and engages in regular review of student progress data 10% - Maintains accurate student records, required forms and documents, attendance hours, and other documents as required by the program 10% - Engages in job-embedded professional learning Minimum Qualifications 1. Bachelor's degree in Education or related degree 2. Experience teaching in one or more of the following areas: Language Arts, Reading, English, ESL 3. Must possess or have the ability to obtain an Arizona Adult Education Certification within 60 days of hire Special Working Conditions This position may include a combination of remote work and in-person work at one of the following locations: RSC Avondale - 420 N.
