Position Summary Metropolitan State University of Denver's AACSB and ABET-accredited Computer Information Systems and Business Analytics department invites applications for a tenure track faculty appointment in the College of Business beginning August 2024. Candidates with teaching experience in information systems security/cybersecurity, telecommunication systems, networking, SAP, or database systems are strongly encouraged to apply. This is a Computer Information Systems or closely related field position; this is not a Computer Science position. Responsibilities The position requires a commitment to excellence in teaching, student advising activities, professional development/scholarship consistent with AACSB & ABET accreditations, and service to the department, college, university, and community. The candidate is expected to teach 12 credit hours (4 classes) each semester. Teaching will be done through online, synchronous, and/or face-to-face formats. Salary for Announcement The anticipated hiring range for this position is $105,000 - $115,000 at Assistant Professor rank. The salary of the finalist selected for this role will be set based upon a variety of factors, including but not limited to, internal equity, education, experience, specialty and training.
