Overview

NYTech's College of Arts and Sciences seeks a full-time Teaching Assistant Professor, Math, located at the New York City campus.



Responsibilities

Candidate is required to teach 21 credit hours for the academic year. Courses assigned include all pre-calculus, calculus service courses, and other advanced courses in the candidate's area of specialization. Additional responsibilities include involvement in curriculum development and service to the Math department.



Qualifications

A doctoral degree in Mathematics/Applied Mathematics/Statistics from a Mathematics Department is required. Candidate should have prior teaching experience at a university, employing a range of pedagogical strategies. Preference will be given to those candidates with a record of research and scholarly activities.

The projected starting date is Fall 2024 with primary teaching responsibilities at the New York City campus with the opportunity in the future to teach at the Long Island campus.

Minimum Salary

USD $82,000.00/Yr.


Maximum Salary

USD $89,000.00/Yr.
