Job Summary Provides clinical direction for all aspects of patient care in an acute inpatient setting, fostering patient/family centered care. Demonstrates clinical competency utilizing evidence-based practices/research in all areas of the nursing process: assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation and outcomes. Incorporates knowledge of safety protocols, cost containment and quality improvement throughout the nursing process. Identifies patient, unit and organizational priorities and incorporates into the nursing process.Adheres to all compliance and policy/procedures of the organization including, but not limited to: licensure renewal, assigned training, employee health screenings, time and attendance policy, dress code policy, patient confidentiality, infection control, medication administration. Demonstrates knowledge of regulatory agency requirements (TJC, DHEC, CMS). Provides care within the scope of the South Carolina Nurse Practice Act. The acute inpatient setting usually requires staff to be scheduled for a significant amount of shift, weekend, holiday, and on-call work. Prisma Health Baptist Radiology Nursing Services Radiology Nursing supports all the radiology modalities such as IR, CT, US, MRI, Diagnostics and Nuclear Medicine.\u00A0 Our team members provide direct patient care through the pre, intra, and post phases. The team cares for outpatients as well as inpatients.\u00A0 On the Baptist campus, the radiology observation care unit (ROCU) has 6 bays and 1 interventional radiology suite.\u00A0 The radiology nurse also assists with cardiac nuclear stress testing.\u00A0 On the Richland campus, the radiology observation care unit (ROCU) has 11 bays and 3 IR suites.\u00A0 Richland cares for Trauma and Neuro patients and is a comprehensive stroke center and has 24-hour RN coverage.\u00A0 Nurses on both campuses work four 9-hour shifts and are on call some weekends and weeknights. Richland has a 30-minute call back due to comprehensive stroke and Baptist has a 45-minute call-back time. Accountabilities Assessments:
