Job Summary:

The Technical Manager, Production Studio is responsible for day-to-day technology excellence so the Production Studio may execute branded content, including broadcast/social/digital commercials, radio, internal communications, activations, events, audio, and branded entertainment. This role may also occasionally manage broader Marketing and Creative COE technology needs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Leads overall digital technology strategies on-site at Allstate, ensuring the company maintains a world-class production studio facility for video, audio, motion graphics/animation, live events, and photography.
  • Designs sophisticated, iterative digital technology plans that help drive strategic production studio capabilities intended to build awareness of Allstate's brand and strategy.
  • Plays a strategic role in producing live-streamed events/meetings supporting C-level executives and achieves business partner and production goals collaboratively. Works closely with internal business partners on live event scope/deliverables, exhibiting an eye for details, identifying gaps, an ability to make deadlines and perform flawless execution.
  • Executes detailed pre-production technical planning for consumer-facing live broadcast appearance requests for company C-level executives and spokespeople.
  • Supports best-in-class asset management workflows and the protection ofAllstate's intellectual property.Supports content lifecycle including ingesting, organization, transcoding, a secure breakout to third parties or Creative COE, finishing, quality control, and delivery formatting.
Key Responsibilities (cont.)
  • Maintains digital diagrams and documentation of all Studio wiring/fiber connections upon completion of changes.
  • Supports Sourcing and Procurement processes for all Production Studio hardware and software equipment orders including but not limited to Adobe, etc.
  • Supports Information Security approval processes for all software tools + marketplace services leveraged by Creative Marketing's Production Studio.
  • Supports Finance and Facilities documentation of Production Studio equipment assets.

Education and Experience:
  • Education and Experience

  • 5+ years of production related experience
  • Bachelor's Degree or relevant work experience.
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:
  • No Certification, License or Registration is required for the job.
Functional Skills:
  • Expert knowledge of technical requirements for full-service studio production, post-production, and live event management/streaming.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of digital content creative workflows from ingest to delivery within production workstations. Experience with server governance, licensing, access compliance, and digital asset taxonomy.
  • Expert knowledge of enterprise live-streaming platforms is required, including platforms' functionality, security, opportunities, limitations, and/or areas of risk.
  • Expert knowledge of accurate time and resource budgeting.
  • Comprehensive familiarity withNewtek TriCaster Elite and Blackmagic Design ATEM video switchers.
  • Comprehensive familiarity with Zoom videoconferencing platforms and integrating into sophisticated live productions.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of contemporary studio network connectivity.
  • Working knowledgeof Adobe Creative Suite (Premier Pro, Photoshop, Lightroom, After Effects, and Illustrator); Avid (Media Composer and Pro Tools); and Microsoft PowerPoint; and various TelePrompTer software.
  • Ability to multi-task, balance multiple projects and manage time and workflow to meet strict deadlines.
  • Passion for keeping up with current trends in studio production, post-production, and live event technologies; proactively pitching new and emerging technologies.

Compensation offered for this role is$82,000.00-$146,125.00 per yearand is based on experience and qualifications.
