Email & SMS Acquisition Marketing Manager

What You'll Do:

* Own all customer acquisition tactics and strategy in email & SMS channels in relation to prospecting and customer acquisition, including but not limited to triggered behavioral campaigns (abandon/browse), lead nurturing, batch-based acquisition & winback.

* Design & implement testing roadmap and data-driven, performance-based, iterative improvements in all tactics and channels.

* Partner with marketing strategy, paid media, brand, contact center, creative and business intelligence groups to maximize strategic impact within owned channels and across all channels.

* Design, deliver & conduct regular performance readouts to executives, partner teams and marketing leadership.

* Educate Team & organization on email best practices in relation to acquisition/prospecting, leveraging performance and testing insights to inform and lead creative strategy in owned acquisition channels.

* Stay informed on industry trends and developments. Seek out new partnerships, tools, capabilities, technologies to better performance and yields in owned channels.

* Advance segmentation capabilities and strategies, delivering improved journey-based messaging to customers, while also maximizing in-channel impressions and conversions.

* Build playbook of acquisition strategies, enabling rapid reaction to diverse market circumstances.

* Project manage acquisition/prospecting related one-off projects as needed.



  • Collaborate with other lifecycle leads to align on broader customer journey strategies.


Do You Have:



  • Proficiency in marketing automation, CRM and analytics platforms (for example: Iterable, Braze, Klaviyo, SFMC, Movable Ink, GA, Adobe Analytics, Segment, SMS Marketing platforms, and similar).
  • Proven experience in acquisition marketing, email marketing, SMS marketing, lifecycle marketing, CRM management or a similar role.
  • Experience in personalization, segmentation, email & SMS marketing best practices, CAN-SPAM & TCPA.
  • Strong analytical skills and experience with A/B and multivariate testing and data-driven marketing.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication & presentation skills.
  • A curious, bootstrapping, self-starter mentality, seeking new opportunities and solving them with data.

Actual base pay for this job will depend on the candidate's primary work location and other factors, such as relevant skills and experience.
Qualifications

Minimum Requirements: College degree and 5-7 years professional level experience with 2-3 years supervisory experience; or 9+ years professional level related experience with 2-3 years supervisory experience; or an equivalent combination of education and professional level related experience required.
