The Senior IT Systems Associate will be responsible for the functional and technical support of vendor packages regarding document management. Technically, this will include troubleshooting issues, performing upgrades and other application maintenance, and supporting application integration components. The Senior Systems Associate will also coordinate with designated business needs to develop and refine document management strategies. The Senior Systems Associate must have experience administering SharePoint Online and other Microsoft 365 tools. Additional responsibility for ancillary systems as needed. This position will be involved in all aspects of the product development life cycle including gathering user requirements, designing the solution, end-to-end testing, deploying the solution and documentation. This includes taking a leadership role in the software development life cycle to ensure project tasks are completed. The applicant must have the ability to perform tasks independently and/or with minimum guidance.

Responsibilities:

  • Support existing vendor Document Management applications, such as Microsoft SharePoint, including troubleshooting and resolving production problems
  • Partnerwith business representatives to understand, define and achieve document management goals regarding document storage, sharing, transmission, and destruction
  • Evaluateexisting document management systems and procedures to determine current effectiveness and efficiency; identifies and recommends improvements
  • Work with vendors to install packages or modules within existing solutions or deploy new solutions
  • Draft test plans and performs unit, integration and system testing and coordination of user acceptance testing
  • Ensurecompliance with applicable laws and regulations regarding data security and document management

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 2 years experience in software development life cycle or equivalent required
  • Minimum of 2 years of Microsoft SharePoint Online administration support experience required
  • College degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Management Information Systems or equivalent preferred. 2 additional years of experience in lieu of degree acceptable
  • Technical skills preferred
    • Programming Languages: .Net Framework (including VB.NET, C#, ASP.NET), PowerShell, XML, HTML
    • Operating Systems: All Windows platforms
    • Software: Experience with Microsoft SharePoint Administration a must, Microsoft Office Suite, Microsoft Reporting Services, Microsoft Visio, experience with other Document Management platforms a plus
    • Database: Microsoft SQLServer 2012 or later
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Basic understanding of laws and regulations regarding document management
  • Able to work independently or in a group
  • Highly flexible and open to new ideas
  • Detail-oriented and self-motivated individual
  • Superior analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to learn new technologies as required for the job using documentation and other available sources
  • Ability to handle multiple assignments with changing priorities while meeting deadlines
  • Must be flexible to work off hours as required to install product upgrades, support production problems and other corporate emergencies

Pay range: The annual base salary range for this position in New York is $70,400 - $105,600.The listed salary range represents our good faith estimate for this position and represents the range for new hire salaries across all U.S locations. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. RWE considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's education & work experience, training & certifications, and key skills as well as market and business considerations at the time of the offer.
