City/State Norfolk, VA Overview Work Shift First (Days) (United States of America) Sentara Brock Cancer Center is seeking a Physical Therapist Full Time (36 Hours) *Sign On Bonus for Qualified Candidates* As a cancer Physical Therapist with Sentara, you evaluate and treat patients with a variety of functional impairments related to their cancer. You help them everyday with regaining a piece of their independence and seeing their success. Treatments focus on lymphedema management, scar tissue massage, posture retraining, upper or lower extremity range of motion and strengthening, patient education, and return to normal daily activities. Job Summary Assess, plan, organize, and participate in rehabilitative programs that improve functional mobility, relieve pain, and improve or correct disabling conditions resulting from disease or injury. Provides age appropriate education for clients and caregivers. Supervise and assume responsibility for care provided by identified team members. Master's or Doctorate Level Degree preferred. 1 year experience required for Resource Pool applicants.
