Sentara Leigh Hospital located in Norfolk, Virginia is seeking an Echocardiographer to join the Noninvasive Lab Team

$25,000 Sign on Bonus available and Relocation Assistance can be provided for qualified candidate!

Full Time Day shift with call required.

Echocardiographer will perform Stress Echo tests, Transesophageal (TEE) Echocardiogram, Doppler, 2-D, 3-D, and Strain imaging. Echocardiographer will perform work in Cath Lab, ED, OR, ICU, and at the Brock Cancer Center.

Education: Graduate of an accredited echocardiography program (or equivalent education) in accordance with IAC Guidelines. Adult echocardiography registry (RCCS or RCS or RDCS) within in 12 months of hire.

BLS certification required.

Job Summary

Performs two dimensional echocardiograms, Doppler echocardiograms, transesophageal echocardiograms and pharmacological stress echocardiograms to evaluate heart and vessel abnormalities for the evaluation of heart disease and blood flow abnormalities. Completes the technologist report in the structured report application.

Graduate of an accredited echocardiography program (or equivalent education) in accordance with IAC Guidelines. Adult echocardiography registry (RCCS or RCS or RDCS) within in 12 months of hire.

Qualifications:

ALD - Associate's Level Degree: Cardiovascular Technology, BLD - Bachelor's Level Degree: Cardiovascular Technology, HS - High School Grad or Equivalent (Required) Basic Life Support (BLS) - Other/National Echocardiography
