We are seeking to hire a Sr. Scientist to join our Reagent Research & Development team, in roles focused on driving expansion of our Single Molecule Array (Simoa) assay portfolio though development and continuous improvement of immunoassay reagent kits. We are looking for a candidate experienced in immunoassay development with a strong desire to develop and commercialize best in class ultrasensitive immunoassays targeting emerging biomarkers for neurodegenerative disease, immunology, and oncology. The successful candidate will be a technically-skilled, hands-on, process- and product-oriented immunoassay expert with a commitment to scientific excellence and the ability to work cross-functionally to successfully execute complex projects.

What You'll Do:



  • Lead immunoassay development projects, from concept through to commercialization in a quality compliant environment. Adhere to design & development processes and documentation practices that meet the requirements of the organization.
  • Design and execute hands-on analyses of biological samples on multiple immunoassay platforms
  • Analyze and summarize complex datasets
  • Troubleshoot and optimize assay design and protocols for reagent production and Quality Control
  • Develop and document product requirements, work instructions and assay validation reports
  • Represent Assay Development on cross-functional program teams
  • Proactively identify opportunities for product and process improvement
  • Teach and mentor colleagues, applying technical leadership skills in laboratory environment
  • Manage junior scientist to achieve efficient execution of tasks to meet project deadlines


What We'll Expect From You:



  • MS Degree in Biology, Biochemistry, Immunology or related field; or BS with substantial relevant experience
  • PhD is a plus in Biology, Biochemistry, Immunology or related field
  • 4+ years of experience developing immunoassays preferred
  • Experience managing people and leading laboratory projects desired
  • Proven ability to make decisions independently and proactively in a fast-paced environment
  • Track record of successfully managing complex projects with close attention to detail
  • Familiarity with clinical assay development, ISO13485, and GCLP standards
  • Experience using advanced analytical / automated instrumentation systems
  • Succinct and clear written and verbal communication capabilities
  • Proficiency with software for statistical analysis and data visualization
  • Direct experience bringing commercial life science products to market is a plus
