Information Systems Security Engineer, Senior

Key Role:

Develop and implement security solutions in alignment with security strategy. Solve system problems with design, development, implementation, and integration of system and cybersecurity architecture. Maintain awareness of market and technology trends to bring best of breed solutions to the client. Apply advanced consulting skills and extensive technical expertise. Develop innovative solutions to complex problems.

Basic Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience with cybersecurity engineering and systems engineering

  • Experience with development of Cyber Risk Management Framework documentation

  • Experience with the planning, building, deploying, and monitoring of secure cloud infrastructure, applications, and services in Amazon Web Services, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform

  • Knowledge of security authorization activities

  • Ability to ensure compliance with Risk Management Framework and development of security Plan of Actions and Milestone mitigation

  • Ability to serve as a Project Management Office expert on cybersecurity protections and requirements

  • TS/SCI clearance

  • Bachelor's degree or 7+ years of experience in cybersecurity in lieu of a degree

  • DoD 8750.01 IAM Level II CISSP Certification

Additional Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of cybersecurity engineering and systems engineering in technical and non-technical reviews

  • Knowledge of the military structure and system acquisition

  • Ability to apply cybersecurity engineering and systems engineering techniques to mitigate cyber vulnerabilities in unclassified and classified environments

  • Ability to organize, multi-task, and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced, deadline driven environment

  • Possession of excellent verbal and written communication skills

Clearance:

Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; TS/SCI clearance is required.

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $73,100.00 to $166,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
